Melbourne Cup 2011

On the first Tuesday of November each year everything comes to a standstill because of the Melbourne Cup. It's all about Betting on Horses, Girls wearing Headdresses and heaps of Good Food. We got all three of them with the Becks Surf and Turf, Sara all dressed up for the occasion and Rob putting bets on the races. Hehehe!

Because most of the guests came in groups and hung around the hotel for hours they also preferred to have large platters of stuff to nibble on their tables. And this kept Rob and Lee very busy, putting together one platter after another.

It stayed busy all throughout Lunch and late afternoon. But lucky for us Dina was on board to help us. It's only her second week at the Becks but she's already proving to be a real asset. She's very good, very fast and she stays very cool under pressure! Coolness! :)
