On Tuesday last week I put up several posters around
work, telling everyone that there are free
Krispy Kreme donuts in the kitchen. I organized
the donuts because I was leaving on the 26th of
September and I wanted to thank everyone. And I made
sure there were donuts until the time that I left.
And because there were dozens and dozens of donuts
in the kitchen I thought of making up a dessert.
I didn't do much to the donut. I just topped it with
kiwifruit, strawberries...
...a dollop of mascarpone on top, drizzled around it
with chocolate sauce, and blueberry coulis on top.
And of course I put a sprig of mint on top and fresh
orange zest. I like the result so much that I
seriously thought about putting it on the Dessert
Specials list. Nice! :)
