After playing
Liverpool and beating
Man
U four times on my PS3 I felt like having sushi.
It wasn't like I was really hungry. I was just
having cravings. And of course for me there's only
one place to go to. And that's my favorite sushi
train:
Sushi Roll World Square! |
 |
|
This is my favorite roll! They call it the Lion
King. I'm not sure why. On the outside it's made of
gratinated salmon with a drop of mayo and a piece of
salmon roe. On the inside, within a layer of sushi
rice and seaweed there are tiny fish roe, crab meat
and avocado. I just love it! It's really succulent.
It's really tasty and the flavor is well balanced. I
always take the ones that are slightly burnt on the
sides because they are a bit crunchy and have a hint
of caramel. Nice! The only thing is that I have
trouble fitting it into my mouth. |
|
I also like the soft shell crab roll. It's got a
claw and legs sticking out. It's coated with black
and brown sesame seeds. And on the inside it has
lettuce, avocado, fried crab stick and cream cheese.
Yum! |

I've been going to Sushi Roll for quite some time
now. I first mentioned it here on my website back in
January but in fact I stumbled upon it by
accident years and years ago. No doubt the food it
great. The selection of sushi on the train and on
what you can order is quite good. And what I really
like the most is that it's very clean. It's
spotless. And the staff are very nice and very
helpful. If your favorite is not on the train, all
you have to do is ask and the chefs will put it
together just for you. And I think that's really
cool! |
|
And also there's something about the ambiance of the
place. It's very peaceful. Even when it's full, I
still find it very relaxing. Watching the sushi move
by on the train helps me unwind and meditate. That's
why I make a habit to go there at least once a
fortnight. And I always leave feeling refreshed and
with a clear head. |

Back on the sushi... I also like the Scallops Roll,
which is sprinkled with chives, and bonito flakes, I
think. On the inside it has cucumber and crab meat
also. And the Dragon Roll is also very tasty. It has
eel fillet on top, then a layer of avocado on the
outside. Inside it has cream cheese, lettuce and I
think there's also deep-fried fish, but I'm not too
sure. |
 |
|
This one's really interesting. It's rolled up sushi
rice, covered in gratinated salmon, and topped with
toasted Scallops with some Avocado on top and tiny
Fish Roe. |
 |
|
Then I had a 2nd plate of Lion King. Yummy!!! |
 |
|
This one's cool! On one side there's a Smoked Salmon
Roll with Salmon Roe on top and a tiny bit of
Philadelphia. And on the other side is topped with
Lobster Salad. Nice! |
 |
|
The Prawn Roll tasted so good. It was really fresh!
The actual prawns on top of the rolls were very soft
and tasty. |
 |
|
And I had a plate of California Roll... and finally,
a third plate of Lion King - my favorite! |
 |
|
I really wanted to have some more. And there are so
many more to choose from. But I was already full after
only ten plates. (My All Time Record was 22 plates!) It was just a snack after all. I then
went to
Easy Way to buy Bubble Tea to take home for
Sheila and myself. I'm starting to become a real
fan, but that's another story. |
