Mussels On A Cold Day

11:37pm Sunday 27 June 2010 Sydney (gmt+10)

It's been wet and cold in Sydney. And even though it wasn't very busy at work it was still pretty good. The mussels in particular was very popular. They're not very hard to put together. Just sauté them with onions, tomato, some white wine and finish it off with a bit of cream.

You'll know the mussels are ready when they pop open. And we always serve them in special mussel pots so all the aroma and flavor are locked in. Yummy! :)

And across to the other kitchen things were a bit quiet also. But Pepi's kept busy by seagulls that would steal just about anything on a plate... including a steak. Rob's kind'a busy too with all the orders. And Ash is back after several weeks of traveling in and around Australia. Coolness!
