Back Into The Frying Pan

I'm already back at work. And it's good to know that despite all the food that I ate while I was in Manila... my uniform still fits! Hehehe! Oh, and also... Greg (looking away) and Rob (picking his nose) were very happy to see me again. Hehehe!

It's quite therapeutic to work with food. Like when I was marinating the salmon fillets with the Sauce Verde I felt a sort've inner peace. And I'm sure Greg felt the same way when he was making the Ratatouille.

But all that inner peace turned into a bit of a rush when orders started popping in one after the other. I only found out when we got busy that we were booked out for dinner. Hehehe!

And all that fast paced cooking and plating up made me realize how good it feels to be in the kitchen again! :)
