Good Food Month

Friday 12 October 2007 - 21:41 (gmt +10 / Sydney)

Earlier this evening I went to Hyde Park. It's Good Food Month so there were heaps of stalls selling different kinds of yummy food!

The lanterns and the music gave a very pleasant outdoor ambiance. It's nice. But that's not what I was there for. Hehehe! For dinner I had Satay Chicken on skewers and Stuffed Chicken Wings! They were so good that I ended up going back to the same stall three times. Hehehe! :)

Then for dessert I went to this stall that sells Mini Dutch Pancakes. You can smell all around the park the scent of Poffertjes batter being fried. It was cooked to order, so the pancakes are served fresh and hot which makes them really fluffy and tasty. And they put heaps of toppings, chocolate sauce and icing sugar.

But I think what really made their Poffertjes so yummy were those two gorgeous sweaty chicks who were meticulously slicing all of the strawberries by hand.

mmmm.... makes me wanna drool with every bite! :P
