All Leather

Because I had to be on my feet for long hours during the day I rely heavily on my footwear. The last time I made mention of my shoes was early last year when its shoelaces broke. At that time I knew that it still had a year or so of life in it. And I guess I was right because last week was when I finally decided to replace it.

On the top picture the one on the left is the new one. You can't really spot the difference as to which one is in better condition because the one on the right which I've worn for several years looks like it only needed a bit of polishing. But with a closer look you'll see that it's wear and tear has reached a critical point. As you can see on the middle left picture some sections of the shoes are already beyond repair. As for the new one, on the middle right picture, it's a bit lighter and softer. The technology that goes into producing these shoes are remarkable, especially the ones produced by Mack... which of course is better known for its trucks. That's why I always get the same brand because I know it's going to last. I do look forward to having it with me for the next 4 or 5 years. :)

I believe in 'fair use', so depending on how and in what context you intend to use it, if you wish to borrow any material in this website, in part or whole, all you need to do is ask. And if you're nice enough I might even put up a link to your site. Coolness! :)
