Any blue jean aficionado will tell you that
the Levi's Jeans came into existence here in
San Francisco. So I went to see the Levi's
museum... which unfortunately turned out to
be little more than a huge shop window.
There are trivial infos here and there but
most of the exhibits are designed to entice
visitors to buy a pair of jeans.
Okay... so maybe I fell for it. But still, I
really don't think it's right to leave San
Francisco without buying a pair of Levi's
Jeans. Unfortunately it's a sort of souvenir
that does not come cheap. In their main
store in front of the Union Square you'll
see sections upon sections of jeans ranging
from US$50 up to US$300. The interior design
of the shop is a real eye candy and the
stuffs on display are guaranteed to make
diehard Levi's fans drool.
But if you prefer not to empty out your
wallet then there is an alternative. Just a
couple of blocks away from their main store
is a shop called Ross. And if you're patient
enough to rummage through rows or clearance
items, and if there are stocks available,
then you'd be able to get a genuine pair of
Levi's Jeans for no more than US$20. Now
that is something worth drooling about! :)
All texts are
written and all images (including logos and stuffs) were either taken or
created by me, Marvin... unless indicated otherwise of course. I believe
in 'fair use', so depending on how and in what context you intend to use
it, if you wish to borrow any material in this website, in part or
whole, all you need to do is ask. And if you're nice enough I might even
put up a link to your site. Coolness! :)
