Today's the first time that I used the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). There are a few differences as compared to City Rail in Sydney, like the ticketing system, but it is as easy to figure out. I also wanted to hop into a cable car but I changed my mind because there were heaps of people waiting to get on board. Rather than  wasting time by standing in line I had coffee instead.

"Tipping Is Sexy!", says that sign on their tipping jar. And I agree! Here it's 15% when you eat or drink. I think it's quite fair. But I gave her a bit more because her coffee was really good. :)

Scattered all over the city are gigantic hearts with cute and colorful designs.

And for something really heart warming I met up with Heather and we had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. The last time that I saw her was back in 1994. Gosh, that was like a lifetime ago! We had Pesto Pizza, Mixed Salad, Grilled Mahi-Mahi... and of course, the Cheesecake of the Day. Nice!
