I think I already spent enough time on my own so this week I started hanging out with my friends, a lot of whom I haven't seen in months. Jan is one of them. I have an entry with him from last year and I didn't seen him again 'til yesterday.

We went to this little Chinese restaurant and had Deep Fried Squid, Chow Mein and a big bowl of marinated Pipi. We always go to there after late night drinks so it was a bit surprising to see a different crowd when we were there during lunch. It's also a bit strange because it looked different as compared to going there when I'm not sober. Hehehe!

Then we had a few drinks at the Star Bar, formerly a Planet Hollywood restaurant. We both used to work there years ago and that's all we talked about. It was alright, but the day was too nice to spend indoors so we decided to go elsewhere.

We ended up going to the Roof Bar and I think it's the best place to go to if you want somewhere quiet to drink in an outdoor setting. It also gives you a more elevated perspective of the city. But if you're thinking of getting seriously intoxicated then it's not the best venue because if you're not careful you could easily fall from several floors up. Hehehe!
