It's
good to be away from work. Even for just
a couple of days it really felt nice to
be doing something else other than being
in the kitchen. I took the weekend off,
but it's only today that I had the
chance to unwind. Being at work everyday
for the past 4 weeks meant that all my
laundry were piled up, my apartment was
a complete mess and my fridge had
nothing in it except a bag of chillies
and a couple of eggs. Hehehe!
So
today I went out. Thank goodness it
wasn't a typical winter day. It was very
sunny and very warm. I didn't do
anything extravagant. All I did was have
lunch outdoors, then I had coffee at my
fave quiet spot in
Martin Place. And obviously I was by
myself.
It's good to be alone sometimes. It
gives you the chance to organize your
thoughts. But it's also good to have
someone to talk with. Maybe next time
I'll drag someone along. Hehehe! And now
that I've done that I'm going back to
work. It's nice to have some time off,
but not too much. :)
