Keep It Cool

Nope, that's not a corpse sticking out of my fridge. Hehehe! It's a technician hard at work. Initially we thought that it just needs more Freon. But there's more to it. Something's not right.
The bacon's got issues too! It's got bits of cartilage and I have to trim them off one slice at a time! Not only is it a waste of time it is also a waste of money because I paid for cartilage-free bacon! Grrr!
At least the cos lettuce that we received today looks pretty spunky! Bright, crisp and blemish free! And look at what I found in the cool room! Hehehe! I'm all set for St Patrick's day! :)
On my way home I felt like having a chocolate bar. But the freakin' thing got stuck! What the f--k!!! In sheer frustration I shook the vending machine 'til it fell. And I got a few "freebies" too! Hehehe!

Keep It Cool

Sometimes I'd like to think that a band-aid solution is the best solution as far as convenience is concerned. But of course that is not true. If a problem is not properly addressed and dealt with then it would be a recurring issue. That is basically what's been happening with the centre fridge at work. All the equipment that we have are important, but this fridge can make the difference between a smooth service period and a disaster because it carries all the stuffs that we need for a 'la carte.

Running low on Freon does happen every now and then especially with older model fridges. The effect is that the fridge ceases to be cool. And if you leave the fan running the heat would build up so eventually it will turn into something like an oven. Anyway it's becoming more and more frequent so I felt that there has to be more to it, and I was right. So now we have to give it a serious overhaul and in the meantime keep a close eye on its performance.

And talk about losing my cool, this is embarrassing...

I did something bizarre on my way home tonight. I shook a vending machine at a train station. Hehehe! I just hope nobody saw me. I must have looked like a real chocolate addict. Hahaha!  What happened was the dispensing mechanism had a problem and the chocolate bar got stuck so it didn't fall down as it's supposed to. Geez, don't you all hate that?! It's as annoying as an ATM eating your card for no real reason.

Honestly, I don't normally do that sort of thing... and I have very low regard for people who do it. But come on, I paid $2.20 for a chocolate bar and I'm not about ready to leave it there!

I WANT MY FREAKIN' CHOCOLATE BAR!!!

So I shook it... and shook it... and shook it! I'm actually surprised to see that it's not as heavy as I expected it to be. I think my book shelves at home are a lot heavier. Eventually the chocolate bar fell, along with a few other goodies! I think I overdid it. Hehehe!
