Just another day in the kitchen...
and there's never a dull moment!
Aha! Out-of-date milk and cream in
the coolroom! I really hate it when
I find stuffs like these.
Don't cry over spilled milk or
cream? But better not having to
discard any in the first place,
right?
To make mash first boil the
potatoes. Peeled, of course!
When ready add cream, butter,
seasoning... then mash 'em good!
Yummmy!!! But don't serve it like
this because it really looks ugly.
Give it an artsy make-over!!!
Gently shape it into a quenelle and
plate it up with a side salad and
top it off with a juicy steak. Neat!
Someone ordered a "healthy" Caesar
salad, with cos lettuce and eggs
only...
...oh, and twice the normal amount
of dressing on the side. Some people
are just so silly!

The
images together with the corresponding
captions are pretty much self-explanatory.
But I just want to emphasize the bottom two
images referring to the "healthy" Caesar
salad.
It's
as idiotic as
Susie Pie's entry about
funny customers. I mean it's so silly
that I ended up shaking my head and laughing
at the same time. Hehehe! During lunch today
one of the waitresses passed through a
docket that says:
*****************************************
Tbl 21
1 x Caesar Salad
*only cos lettuce and eggs on bowl
pls - plus DOUBLE dressing on side*
*girl on diet - may try fat steak
w/o mash for mains later*
*****************************************
If you
don't want to be talked about or laughed at
by the chefs and service staff then
please... PLEASE... stick to the menu. Or if
you can't help but want something a bit
different then at least have a competent
reason for it. :)
