Jason was running the restaurant again and I saw him
tinkering with the espresso machine so I hassled him
for coffee. ...he gave in eventually and made me a
latte. Woohoo!
For lunch there were only two on the floor... Morven
(a "female Marvin" from Scotland!) and Jason
himself. Although it was meant for the Melbourne
cup, we still used some of the Panna Cotta for
yesterday's dessert specials. Roman came in at
midday... and as always he's looking a bit "evil"...
...especially with that potato helplessly attached
to his clever. Hehehe!
One of the highlights of the day was the otherwise
lackluster burger. Above is a normal version...
...but what if somebody decides to order it without
the bun nor the fries? ...like those silly American
tourists. Weird! Hehehe!
Then there's the Fresh Berries on Clotted Cream and
Heart Shaped Chocolate Baskets... also a dessert
entry for Melbourne Cup Day. ...a closer look shows
how yummy those berries look. Mmmmm... I like the
blueberries best! :)
