Grilling Away On A Sunday

2:17am Monday 8 September 2003 Sydney (gmt+10)

There were lots and lots of people out and about all over Sydney. It's a nice warm spring day. :) When I walked into the kitchen I saw Anne with Roman. They're trying to relax after a rather busy lunch.

While I was grilling away Roman made me a hot chocolate. Ooh, yummy! :) ...but we couldn't chat much because he was busy on the floor. Instead Tara did the food running and kept me company. Cool!
As usual on a Sunday we sold a lot of snack foods... like the Seafood Basket. It's got battered fish, crumbed prawns, calamari rings and chips (fries!). It's not good for your arteries but beer drinkers love it! Hehehe! =P ...and we also sold quite a few Fish and Chips... which is a more "posh" version of the seafood basket... minus the prawns

Then I got an order for a Baby Barramundi... with the Head chopped off! Yeesh! ...I dunno about other people, but for me I find it more freaky to eat a decapitated fish than a whole one. Hehehe! :P
It wasn't that busy... I did a few steaks now and then... ...and Greg did a few pastas like the Spirelli with Prosciuto...

...and he also did a few Garlic Prawns. But since it was really quiet we just spent most of the evening cleaning up. I got Greg to clean up the top of the ovens. Cool!
