Never An Average Day

2:49am Thursday 28 August 2003 Sydney (gmt+10)

It was my day off, but I went to work because I wanted to do some training with Thomas... I'd prefer to be in the kitchen and learn something new rather than stay at home and watch some silly soap opera. And at work I get free coffee... which is great! :)

As usual I grilled a lot of steaks, some with mash potatoes... while others prefer chips (fries!). We also sold a lot of Stir Fried Prawns and Barramundi. Mmm.. yummy!
I cooked up the staff meals for our afternoon break. They all work hard so I made sure that they all eat something nice... ...like Anne's pasta, with vegetables and tomato sauce...

Roman had an Omelete with chicken, mushrooms, tomato and cheese... ...while Tanya had the usual Penne pasta with napolitana sauce and mushrooms. During the dinner service we were busy, but steady. Basically guests came into the restaurant one table at a time... and they mostly ordered the Ocean Trout... which was good.

Tara's on as well. As soon as she showed up she was already running around and doing stuffs. She was as busy as a bee.
