A Grilling Impression

12:51am Tuesday 05 August 2003 Sydney (gmt+10)

I got to the city sometime in the afternoon and it was gorgeously sunny. =) As always on my days off I buy myself either a Latte or a Frapp from Starbucks. Since yesterday was a bit warm I got myself a Caramel Frapp. Cool! =)

I passed by a book shop and I got myself a copy of "Life of Pi". I've been meaning to get it for a while now because most of my friends say it's a good book. I arrived at work and just in time for lunch. Kimmie made for us Prawn and Chicken Laksa. Oooh... yummmy!!! After lunch we all sat there and talked about stuffs. Greg and Kimmie were listening to some stories. Service time has just started and I was left in charge of the forward/grill section while Thomas did his paper work.

It was a bit quiet, except for a steak or two now and then. Here I'm grilling two Wagyu steaks. I think they want them Medium. After a few minutes the steaks were already Medium so I served them up with a salad and mashed potatoes. It's a very simple setting but it's really yummy. Mmmm =)
Then I did a few Baby Barramundis. They're huge so I had to use an oversized plate. I was looking for Tara so she could pick up the food... but I couldn't find her, until she suddenly popped out in front of me. Hehehe!

Roman had a haircut and he's showing it off by giving me a really devilish look. Hehehe! After work I saw him at McDonalds... probably starvin' because he ate nothing at work.
