Roman came up to me and he said "I'm Hungry!"...
...so I made him an omelette. Um, that should keep
him happy for a while. Hehehe!
Tanya made me her absolutely yummy Three Layered
Coffee Treat! Cool! ...but as usual she was too fast
for my camera so I was not able to take a proper pic
of her. Oh well... =) Later in the afternoon a guest
cancelled his order for a grilled ocean trout... so
I had it for my dinner. Yum! =)
So I just spent most of the evening catching up with
my mise-en-place. The first thing I did was cut some
lemon wedges because I barely had any left in my
fridge. Hehehe! Later on I did a dessert order. It's
for a brulee... so the first thing that I did was
put the iron over a high flame until it's
scorchingly hot.
Then I sear it on the sugar that's been sprinkled
over the creme brulee. Notice the white steam oozing
out as the sugar caramelizes. So I just keep searing
it until the brulee gets a nice caramelized top...
kind'a like a thick layer of glass.
I just serve it with double creme and some fruits.
