Winter Menu

The first dish that Kimmie made a sample of was the crumbed mushroom... ...the color combination looks great!

...then Kimmie deep fried some papadoms until they're nice and crisp... ...they go with the chicken korma. Oooh... yummy!!! After that Kimmie deep fried some hokkien noodles. Notice how it furiously "blossomed" into a nice crispy treat once it touched the hot oil! The noodle in itself was appetizing enough, but it was for something heftier...

...the stirfried prawns with fresh vegies and cashews. Lovely! Thomas plated up his Osso Bucco with mashed potatoes. It looked absolutely delicious!
He then started preparing the next sample dish... ...carpaccio of peppered beef with some parmesan and a tiny bit of salad. Wow... cool!

Back to Kimmie... and she was busy garnishing a pasta dish... ...it's penne with dill cream sauce. It looked so luscious!
Almost immediately after I saw the penne Kimmie put out the spirelli pasta with cruncy prosciutto... ...come lunch time she served up hokkien noodles stirfried with beef and vegies. Mmmmm..!
This is me, just before I went back into the kitchen. I looked terrible. I think I need to shave! Hehehe! As soon as I walked in I saw Kimmie plating up her garlic prawns. It looked so delectable!
Kimmie then started putting together the new soup of the day. It's tomato and bacon soup... looking at it made me so hungry that I had some of it! =)
