Saturday Blitz

8:34am Sunday 27 April 2003 Sydney (gmt+10)

It was raining when I left home, but by the time I got to Circular Quay the sun was already starting to shine through... and there's also a giant cruise liner docked just meters from work. It means it's gonna be freaking busy!

That's me in my cold weather gear... and that's Roman doing something silly to the Cos Lettuce. Ew! Hehehe!

I made an omelette for him and a Penne Pasta with Carbonara Sauce. Then there's Lauren and Tanya working in the restaurant while Greg sliced the parmesan. Kimmie of course is busy cooking up a storm... and making yummy stuffs for our lunch break. Mmm... I really enjoyed the spicy fish fillets with vermicelli salad that she made! :)

We enjoyed our lunch, but we were told to sit on a corner table instead of our usual stuff. Reinhardt and the gang already set up the tables for the bookings. They did it early so they had plenty of time to mock around... kind'a like what Shanker is doing. Hehehe! But for us in the kitchen things started to heat up towards 7pm as the orders started coming in one after the other.

While Thomas and Saroj worked at the front, me and Kimmie worked at the back. We pumped out so much food that we ran out of plates 3 times! :)
