I was meant to start at 6pm. Tempting as it seems, I
decided to come early to make sure I have the larder
section set up properly. I could come at 6, but by
that time I'd be swamped by orders and I wouldn't be
able to organize my side.
I got there by 2pm... and by 3:30 my section was
pretty much ready to go. So I decided to go for
lunch at around 4pm. It so happens that Mal was
going out for a break as well so we went to this
fairly new food court near Town Hall station. I
wanted to take Stacy along as well, but I just
couldn't find her because she went for her break 15
minutes earlier than we did.
We had beef noodles, and also "what appears to be"
fresh spring rolls. After that we went to the
internet cafe and while he was checking his mail I
was playing computer games.
We went back to the kitchen just before 6. It was
awfully cold outside so we weren't that busy. Also
in the kitchen were Simon, George and Tiery. It
wasn't as hectic as it was during the previous
weekends but we did quite a few nevertheless.
One notable event was
when a couple of burgers came back to the kitchen.
There's really nothing wrong with them, it's just
that a service staff entered the wrong order. Tiery
and Malcolm weren't impressed by it. And I was just
laughing at how many "f" words echoed around the
kitchen at that time.
But still, service time dragged on and we did a few
covers. Of course, to make use of our spare time we
talked about funny stuffs and our plans for the
weekend.
Then... just after I finished cleaning up my section
and packing away my stuffs I got a relatively big
dessert order. I really don't mind staying for a few
more minutes because I really don't have any plans
for tonight. So I made the desserts... and I did
them really nicely... 'coz I won't be back until
noon tomorrow anyway. =)
...oh and that's me taking a pic of myself in the
shower room with my pencam. Hehehe!
