Yes... yes... YES...
much to everybody's disappointment, today's entry is
about work. I'm working... on a Thursday... when I'm
usually off.
Things were quite busy in the other outlet so I had
to do a short shift in the evening just to cover the
gaps in the roster. But anyway, I was with Stacy,
George and Mal... and they're just so funny.
To begin with, Stacy, Mal, and I (plus a few other
people) went to the bar for a "few" drinks the night
before. But of course... one round wasn't enough so
we ended up staying there longer than we thought...
and Stacy and I actually left minutes after the bar
closed up. |

Then George was telling me about his adventures with
blind-dates and other girls that he met in a Korean
bar somewhere. And he was also telling me about his
disappointment when Korea was beaten by Germany in
the World Cup. And while he was telling me all of
this he forgot that he had a couple of pizzas in the
oven. Oops!
Malcolm was alright, he's probably the most level
headed person in the kitchen tonight... but he seems
a bit tired with all the split shifts that he's done
this week.
Then I was trying to help Stacy in the grill section
by manning the deep-fryers. But I think I actually
made it worse for her because I was in her way and I
really wasn't that familiar with her set-up.
Good thing it wasn't that busy. So we spent most of
the evening talking about silly stuffs... and doing
some kitchen work like cutting mushrooms and making
Tandoori Chicken. =) |
