With the recent unsavoury events at work it was a welcome relief for me to get a shift with Malcolm and Jan because they're really funny and easy going.
I gave Malcolm my section, which is the larder section, while I did the pasta section. As most of you would know the larder section is my pet section in the kitchen because that's what I'm really good at... and I basically set it up when the restaurant re-opened. I really don't trust anybody else to operate it other than Malcolm.

And so I was in the pasta section... counting ravioli, sort of! And making pizza and other stuffs that I haven't really made in ages. It's also a welcome relief to work close to the stove top and to the oven because it's been so cold in the city lately. And all throughout my shift I was trading dirty jokes with Jan who was again doing the grill section.

Then Korea won the game... unexpectedly. And before anybody could do a commentary on the match all the Korean fans inside the surrounding bars, internet cafes and billiard houses came rushing out into the street and the three of us were right in the middle of it. I think we even ended up on TV... hehehe! And I got home at daybreak. :)
